The main idea of the project was to present the modern architecture of the country house through the prism of local traditions – the elements typical for these summer cottages, such as inclined roof, wooden facade and clinker bricks, are combined with rigid and dynamic facade geometry and large-scale stained glass.
The architects characterize the concept of the interior with the phrase «flowing space». This describes the interrelation of the relief with the volumes, the facades, and the interiors of the building. In the interior the wooden flooring is partially transferred to the walls and ceilings, dissecting the white perimeter monolith parallel to the facade planes. Complemented with glass and mirror surfaces, it forms a complex, developed space which is complemented by objects created specifically for it: a polygonal dining table with a glass base, lamps, prisms, oak and teak joinery in the master bedroom and bathroom. In the interior mainly Italian furniture of factories B & B Italia, Maxalto and Poltrona Frau is used.
